Agentix API errors and limits
Status codes and retry guidance for the Agentix API.
| Status | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| 200 | Success | Read the response JSON. |
| 400 | Missing or invalid parameter | Correct the request fields. |
| 401 | Bad or missing key | Check the authorization header and key. |
| 403 | Missing access | Use a key authorized for the operation. |
| 404 | Route or record not found | Check the path and identifiers. |
| 429 | Rate limited | Honor Retry-After when present. |
| 5xx | Temporary service error | Retry with bounded backoff. |
Retries
For temporary 429 and 5xx responses, use bounded exponential backoff and honor Retry-After when the response includes it.
Limits
Published per-key rate limit values are not included in the current public contract.
